China is the most solar capacity in the world at 306,973 MV. The United States is the second-highest at 95,206 MW and Japan is the third at 74,191. These data are based on 2021.
This indicates that China’s total energy consumption is produced by approximately 4.8 to 6% of solar energy. So, no matter where we are, the sun provides more than enough energy to satisfy our energy needs.
